2/2 Way Solenoid Valve 1-1/2″ Brass | 24V AC Normally Closed
The 2/2-Way Brass Solenoid Valve provides electrically operated on-and-off flow control for compatible commercial and industrial water systems. This configuration combines 1-1/2-inch connections, a durable brass valve body, a 24V AC solenoid coil, and normally closed operation.
When its coil is de-energized, the valve remains closed to help stop flow through the pipeline. Applying the specified 24V AC power energizes the solenoid and opens the valve, subject to its operating-pressure and flow-direction requirements. This fail-closed operation makes the valve suitable for automated supply, filling, shutoff, equipment-protection, and process-control functions.
The low-voltage AC coil can be integrated into properly engineered water-treatment control systems using a compatible transformer, relay, timer, level switch, pressure switch, control panel, or programmable controller. Its large 1-1/2-inch connection size supports substantial liquid-flow requirements where a smaller valve could create excessive restriction.
The brass body provides strength and corrosion resistance for approved water and compatible-liquid applications. Common installations may include commercial reverse osmosis systems, industrial filtration equipment, pretreatment systems, process-water lines, storage-tank filling systems, and automated water-supply assemblies.
Confirm the connection standard, coil frequency, voltage tolerance, transformer requirements, operating mechanism, pressure range, minimum pressure differential, seal material, temperature rating, orifice diameter, flow coefficient, duty cycle, enclosure rating, installation orientation, and fluid compatibility before publishing those details as guaranteed specifications.

Key Features
- 2/2 way normally closed (NC) operation
- Direct acting design (no minimum pressure required)
- 1 1/2″ DN40 connection size for high-flow applications
- Brass valve body for corrosion resistance
- 24V AC solenoid coil
- Fast response and reliable sealing
- Suitable for continuous duty cycles
- Compact, serviceable industrial design
Applications
A 2/2 way normally closed (NC) brass solenoid valve is designed to remain closed when de-energized and open only when power is applied. This makes it ideal for applications requiring fail-safe shutoff, controlled flow, and reliable on/off operation.
