The ULP11-4040 Reverse Osmosis Membrane is an ultra-low-pressure membrane element designed for efficient water purification in commercial and light-industrial RO systems. Its standard 4-inch × 40-inch configuration supports installation in compatible 4040 membrane housings and multi-element reverse osmosis equipment.

Engineered to deliver dependable permeate production at lower operating pressure than many conventional low-pressure membrane elements, the ULP11-4040 can help reduce system energy requirements while maintaining effective dissolved-solids rejection. Its spiral-wound membrane construction provides a substantial filtration surface within a compact commercial format.

The membrane is suitable for treating compatible low-salinity feedwater sources, including appropriately pretreated municipal water, groundwater, and surface water. Common applications include commercial drinking-water production, process-water purification, food and beverage operations, boiler-feed pretreatment, laboratory systems, spot-free rinse equipment, and general commercial water treatment.

Proper pretreatment is essential for protecting the membrane from suspended solids, scaling, organic fouling, and oxidizing chemicals. Confirm the feedwater chemistry, system pressure, membrane-housing compatibility, pretreatment requirements, and manufacturer operating limits before installation.
